This year Nate and I decided we really needed to make the time to get out, adventure, and explore- even if it meant places that were just
a car ride and day-trip away!
One of our favorite stops this summer?
The Cape Cod Town of Chatham!
The area is so creative!
Art is celebrated everywhere!
From unique boutiques, and open studios, to chamber hosted events
like this one that happens every summer!
Whales in the park!
This beauty was painted by one of my artist friends- Clara Clough!
She's so talented and even had an awesome collaboration
with Rhoback this summer!
You can find Clara's work on her website here!
Other fun stops included a visit with Photographer Barry Desilets,
owner of "Colors of Chatham." His work is both beautiful and fun!
We left with 2 smaller framed prints of plovers and a seal.
Another place to visit is Chatham Threadworks!
Not only is this shop like monogram heaven if you're keen to popping initials on everything from totes, to robes, and linens, they're also a host to several pop-ups over the summer!
Chatham Threadworks supports dozens of women owned small businesses
and makers each season by allowing them to utilize their space and foot traffic!
Who wouldn't want to purchase from a boutique like this?
A perfect last stop of the day included a visit to Chatham Lighthouse Beach.
No pics were taken, we just enjoyed the cool, salt air, the sound of the waves, and the vibrant sunset that inspired this newest series- named after this Cape Cod coastal town.
